I forgot that I had done that, and tried to extract the Rx from the plane. I secured the antenna to the side of the plane with Blenderm, a type of tape used for hinges. If you yank on the antenna, you can pull it off. There is one thing to be careful with, especially with the 6 channel Rx. The 7 channel stabilized and the 6 channel without stabilization will both work fine on either the 3 or 4 channel version The stabilization is in both the Pro and "not Pro", ie, 3 channel version, with this V2 product line. Having assumed that, is the Lemon RX unit link below compatible with the aileron wing Pro? And then the cheapest Lemon for 13 bucks would be the basic RX that would function but without the gyro. If you already have some experience, call it "experienced beginner), the 4 channel might be a better choice. If you are a start-from-scratch beginner, I'd recommend the 3 channel. If you aren't going to use the "Aegis" flight control system (safe clone), then you could put in a Lemon paired to a Spektrum this is what I have in my planes. But it makes the plane "4 channel".īoth are pretty crash friendly crashes don't seem to destroy anything that cannot be easily fixed. So much so that I added ailerons and found it didn't really fly much better with them. It flies pretty good with only 3 channels, although some times I wished that it had ailerons. I find the 3 channel to be very very easy to fly, while the 4 channel is just "very easy" to fly. The 3 channel plane has a completely different wing, which is larger and looks more scale-like. The plane comes in two flavors, one is a 3 channel, brushed motor, "Ares Gamma 370") the other is 4 channel, with brushless motor ("Ares Gamma 370 PRO"). Landing gear is a bit weak, but repairs are easy I believe the main difference between V1 and V2 is the "safe" clone, and some cosmetics (the cowl looks different, not sure if material/manufacture technique is different). I haven't flown the V2, but I had 3 of the V1 one has gone to the big hangar in the sky.
